According to the International Gymnastics Federation, Elizabeth Price of Coopersburg, Pa./Parkettes, is tied with Romania's Larisa Iordache at the top of the women's rankings for the 2013-14 FIG World Cup all-around series. John Orozco of the Bronx, N.Y./Team Hilton HHonors (U.S. Olympic Training Center) is in fourth place in the men's rankings, where the Ukraine's Oleg Verniaiev is currently in first place. Two of the four events in the series have been completed, and the next event is the 2014 AT&T American Cup on March 1 in Greensboro, N.C.

Price won the women's title at the World Cup in Stuttgart, Germany, where Iordache was second, and one week later, the two switched finishes, with Iordache taking first in Glasgow, Scotland.

Verniaiev won in both Stuttgart and Glasgow, where Orozco finished fifth and fourth, respectively. Depending on their placement at World Cup meets, competitors earn a number of points that count toward their World Cup ranking. First place at one of the four World Cup events merits 50 points, second place 45, third 40, and so on. The best three placements at World Cup events count toward the gymnast's point total.
