To support America's Olympic and Paralympic athletes going into the upcoming 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, the U.S. Olympic Committee has launched its "Raise Your Hands" campaign so fans can support Team USA financially and cheer them on by wearing the limited edition Go USA fan mittens. To publicize the initiative, NBCUniversal, the U.S. media rights holder for the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, has produced and released several promotional videos that feature many of the network's top stars raising their hands in support of Team USA.

The mittens are navy blue knit and have the words "GO" and "USA" embroidered on the right and left palms, respectively. The mittens retail for $14 and a portion of every sale directly supports U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes. The mittens are available at teamusa.org/raiseyourhands and through major national retailers, including Target and Kohl's.

The PSAs will air across many NBCU networks, including NBC and NBC Sports Network. NBCU talent appearing in the spots wearing the Go USA mittens and raising their hands in support of Team USA range from entertainment to sports to late night, including Jimmy Fallon, Giuliana Rancic, Seth Meyers, Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison, Jason Kennedy, Joan Rivers, Mariska Hargitay, Lauren Graham, Craig T Nelson, Jim Cramer, Tom Colicchio, Maria Bartiromo, Emeril Lagasse and Ali Fedotowsky.

As the national governing body for gymnastics, USA Gymnastics is a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee. The USOC is a nonprofit organization and relies on the generous support of a committed community of sponsors and donors to provide America's elite athletes the support they need and deserve. The USOC is one of the only National Olympic Committees in the world that does not receive government funding for its Olympic programs.
