Mikulak, Penev, Wynn set to compete at World Challenge Cup in Portugal

INDIANAPOLIS, June 10, 2013 – Led by 2012 Olympian Sam Mikulak of Corona del Mar, Calif./University of Michigan, three U.S. men will compete in the FIG World Challenge Cup – Portugal 2013 in Anadia, Portugal. Eddie Penev of Penfield, N.Y./Stanford University, and Brandon Wynn of Columbus, Ohio/Ohio State University, will join Mikulak. The event, which will be held June 21-23, is part of the International Gymnastics Federation's World Cup series and features individual event competition.

The qualification round for all six apparatus will take place on Friday, June 21. The finals for floor exercise, pommel horse and still rings are scheduled for June 22. The competition concludes on Sunday, June 23, with finals for vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar.
