COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Atlanta's Magnificent Seven, the first U.S. women's gymnastics team to win the Olympic team gold medal, defeated basketball's 1992 Dream Team in the Elite Eight round of the U.S. Olympic Committee's Team USA Bracket Challenge. The Mag 7 received 82.5% of the fan vote and now squares off with swimming's 2008 men's 4x100 relay to advance to the final round.

As college basketball season prepares for this weekend's Final Four, the U.S. Olympic Team Facebook page has launched a fan-friendly bracket of its own. Voting for the Final Four ends today with announcement of the final two moments Friday, April 5.

Team USA moments - from the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin to the 2012 Olympic Games in London - will go head-to-head in a fan vote to determine Team USA's most popular Olympic moment according to Facebook voters in the Team USA Bracket Challenge.

In addition, hockey's 1980 Miracle on Ice faces Lindsey Vonn's 2010 performance. The winner will go on to face either the Magnificent Seven or the men's 4x100 relay team in the final.

The launch of the Team USA Bracket Challenge follows a series of U.S. Olympic Team Facebook apps that help bring fans closer to the Olympic Movement by continuing the Olympic conversation beyond Games-time. Other Team USA apps have offered Facebook fans exclusive video content via YouTube, the opportunity to video chat live with athletes, a 20-question poll to determine, "What Olympic Sport are You?," and an interactive map where fans can locate Olympic Day activities in their local communities.
