USA's Lowell and Nacey second after prelims at the 2012 Pan American Trampoline/Tumbling Championships

SANTIAGO de QUERETARO, Mexico, Dec. 1, 2012 – Kristle Lowell of Orland Park, Ill./Branch Gymnastics, and Austin Nacey of Braidwood, Ill./TwistStars Tumbling and Trampoline, both finished second after prelims in double mini at the 2012 Pan American Trampoline and Tumbling Championships, at the Josefa Ortíz de Domínguez Auditorium in Santiago de Queretaro, Qro., Mexico.

Lowell scored a 66.00 and Nacey scored a 70.40.

Kalon Ludvigson of Pocatello, Idaho/Team Revolution, and Marina Moskalenko of St. Cloud, Fla./Stick It Gymnastics, are in the lead in tumbling after the preliminary round of competition. Nacey is third.

All four USA athletes will compete in the finals tomorrow.
