Mikulak among 2012 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes to be honored at the White House

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 13, 2012- On Sept. 14, 2012 U.S. Men's Olympic Team member Sam Mikulak of Newport Coast, Calif./University of Michigan, will be one of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic athletes welcomed by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in recognition of their participation and success at this year's Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.

The event commences at 10 a.m. ET on the White House South Lawn. There, President Obama will make remarks honoring the 2012 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams.

Team USA led the medal count at the 2012 Olympic Games in London with 104, whichincluded six earned by the U.S. men's and women's gymnastics teams.

Gymnasts on the 2012 Olympic Team who are on the cast of the 2012 Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions were unable to attend because they are performing in Glendale, Ariz.
