"What an amazing accomplishment for gymnastics fans throughout the Bay Area and more specifically 'Gymnastics City USA'(San Jose) to come out and support our athletes as they vie to represent the United States at the Olympic Games in London," said USA Gymnastics President Steve Penny. "It's a fantastic ending to what has been a wonderful week of competition in San Jose. We look forward to returning to HP Pavilion in September to kick off the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions."
Fans who don't have a ticket to the final day of women's gymnastics are still encouraged to come to the Arena Green located across Autumn St. from HP Pavilion to join in outdoor celebrations - the Visa Fan Fest from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. and AT&T Block Party from 8 – 11 p.m.
At the Visa Fan Fest, fans can gather for fun before the women's competition to mingle and enjoy various activities, including the Road to London, Painting at the Park, the USA Gymnastics Fitness Zone, and other interactive activities, along with music, autographs, face painting, balloon art and gymnastics demonstrations.
The AT&T Block Party will feature live entertainment from music superstar and two-time GRAMMY winner Kenny Loggins, food and drink. Additionally, members of both the men's and women's 2012 U.S. Olympic Teams will be at the AT&T block party to greet fans.
