Khoi Young - Stanford

NCAA Specialist of the Week
Brody Malone - Stanford
Malone made his season debut for the Cardinal on Sunday, winning the pommel horse (14.000) and horizontal bar titles (14.300). The selection is the first as a specialist for Malone, while he has claimed five CGA National Gymnast of the Week honors in her career.

Gymnast of the Week
Jesse Tyndall - Ohio State
  • Picked up wins in the all-around (81.050) and parallel bars (season-high 13.800) in pacing Ohio State to a conference win over previously-unbeaten Michigan on Feb. 12
  • Became one of just three individuals in the country to reach 81 points in the all-around this season
  • Registered a career-high score on the pommel horse (13.450), along with additional season highs on the floor (14.150) and vault (13.950)
  • Twice earned Academic All-Big Ten honors (2020, 2021) and was chosen as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar last year
  • Collects his first career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award

Gymnast of the Week
Matthew Davis – Army
Mathew Davis had a dominant performance for Army West Point this past weekend at the All-Academy Championships. He captured the all-around title, won rings and vault, and placed second on floor exercise. His scores on floor exercise, vault, and horizontal bar were season highs. His all-around score was also a season-high and his highest all-around score since the 2020 season.

Specialist of the Week
Riley Rose – Navy
The freshman finished atop the leaderboard for the high bar for the second consecutive meet as he scored a 13.05 at the All-Academy Championship in Frisco, Texas versus Army and Air Force.

Rookie of the Week
Isaiah Drake – Navy
Competing in the all-around for the second consecutive weekend, Drake turned in top-level results once again as tied for the highest high bar score (13.05), while placing second on the pommel horse (13.5) and vault (14.2) and fourth on the rings (13.35). In the all-around standings of the service academy tri-meet, he was third overall.

Khoi Young - Stanford
Stanford freshman Khoi Young (Bowie, MD) won the all-around (82.750) against No. 9 California (Feb. 13), helping the top-ranked Cardinal to an NCAA season-high total (415.350). Young's all-around was the third-highest in the nation this year. His best score on the day came on vault where he posted a 14.500 to finish third. Young also recorded top-five placements on floor (14.150) and pommel horse (13.400), while adding a 14.100 on parallel bars. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Young.
