NCAA Specialist of the Week
Trevor Cummings - Ohio State
Cummings scored a career-best 14.600 on the pommel horse to lead Ohio State to a win against New York Alliance last weekend. His 14.600 is also the highest score in the country this season on pommel horse.

Big Ten Conference
Gymnast of the Week
Ethan Dick - Penn State
  • Won two events and finished third in another to help Penn State win the Navy Open on Jan. 22 in Annapolis, Md.
  • Posted career-high scores in his wins on the parallel bars (14.15; fourth in nation and highest in the Big Ten this season) and vault (14.35)
  • Collects his first career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award

Eastern College Athletic Conference
Gymnast of the Week
Dominic Ramalho – Springfield
Dominic Ramalho finished third in the all-around at the Navy Open, highlighted by a fourth-place finish on the vault and fifth place score on the floor.

Specialist of the Week
Ronan McQuillan – Navy
McQuillan was a standout this weekend on the pommel horse as he placed first on the apparatus at the 2022 Navy Open courtesy of his 13.35 score. Taking on a field of 25 gymnasts from Penn State, Navy, William & Mary, Springfield and Temple, he finished first by 0.15 points over Penn State's Chase Clingman.

Rookie of the Week
Isiah Drake – Navy
Drake continued the fast start to his collegiate career as he recorded two top-two results at Saturday's Navy Open. Drake's floor exercise performance took top-billing as he won the event with a 13.85 score, that cleared the field by 0.15 points. His high-scoring efforts continued on the high bar where he netted a 13.25 that placed him second overall.

Raydel Gamboa - Oklahoma
Oklahoma freshman Raydel Gamboa (Phoenix, AZ) earned two event titles against Air Force in his second collegiate meet, and first at home. Gamboa put up an impressive 13.650 routine on high bar and a 13.150 on pommel horse to finish first on both events in the Sooners' dual win over Air Force (Jan. 22). Gamboa also placed second on parallel bars with a 13.450 and added a 13.150 on still rings. This is the first career MPSF award for Gamboa
