Big Ten Conference
Gymnast of the WeekNicholas Guy - Michigan
- Won two event titles to help the defending Big Ten Champion Wolverines to a season-opening victory over Northern Illinois on Jan. 8
- Claimed victories on the vault (14.45) and floor exercise (13.40)
- A three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection (2019, 2020, 2021)
- Collects his first career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award
David Wolma - Michigan
- Earned a share of the title on the vault (14.45) in his college debut against Northern Illinois on Jan. 8
- Helped the reigning Big Ten Champion Wolverines open with a victory over the Huskies
- Earns his first Freshman of the Week award
Eastern College Athletic Conference
Gymnast of the WeekMatthew Davis – Army
Senior co-captain Mathew Davis competed All-Around this past weekend for the Black Knights in their meet against Penn State. Davis placed first on the still rings with a 13.7 and stuck his vault, placing second and scoring a 14.1 on event. Mathew was also the Black Knights' top scorer on floor exercise.
Specialist of the Week
Patrick Armstrong – Army
Patrick Armstrong had a successful start to the season. Armstrong placed second on parallel bars with a 12.25 and sixth on rings with a 12.7, helping the Black Knights top the Nittany Lions on both events.
Rookie of the Week
Zachary Perez – Army
Freshman Zachary Perez had a memorable start to his collegiate career. The Florida native was the Black Knights' top scorer on horizontal bar with a 12.15. He stuck his dismount and placed third on the event.
