Athlete of the Week
Elizabeth White - King
Elizabeth White, a senior base and tumbler from Jefferson City, Tenn., earned Athlete of the Week honors after leading King University to a 270.865-255.395 victory over Belmont Abbey to remain unbeaten on the season. White competed in 11 heats and team event for King, helping the Tornado record six scores of 9.50 or higher. White helped KU record a perfect 10.0 in the open pyramid, and a 9.95 in both the acro five-element and synchronized pyramid.

Specialist of the Week
Jayden Nelson - King
Jayden Nelson, a senior from Las Vegas, Nev., starred in the pyramid event for King University during last week’s win over Belmont Abbey. Nelson and the Tornado scored a 9.80 or better in each heat during the event, including a perfect 10.0 in the open pyramid. KU also scored a 9.80 in the inversion pyramid and a 9.95 in the synchronized pyramid. Nelson competed as a top in all three heats, helping the Tornado set new school records in the open and synchronized pyramid heats.

Freshman of the Week
Katie Emborsky - West Liberty
Katie Emborsky, a freshman base from Jonestown, Pa., competed in eight heats and team event for West Liberty to repeat as the NCATA Freshman of the Week. She helped the Hilltoppers to six scores of 9.50 or higher, including a 9.95 in the open pyramid and a 9.90 in the compulsory toss. Emborsky competed in all three heats of the pyramid event for the Hilltoppers, helping the team to a trio of scores higher than 9.80. She competed as a base or mid-base in all eight heats last week, and also tumbled during team event.

Athlete of the Week
Kenzie Kyle - West Liberty
Kyle, a senior from Parsonw, W.Va., helped lead West Liberty to a MEC win over Glenville State last week. In addition to the team event, she participated in six heats for West Liberty helping the 'Toppers score over 9.25 in all six. She helped West Liberty post scores over 9.8 in all three heats of pyramid, with a high score of 9.95 in the open heat.

Athlete of the Week
Elizabeth White - King
A senior from Johnson City, Tennessee, White competed in 12 heats in King's win over Belmont Abbey. In the meet, White helped the Tornado set six program records as King posted their third-highest meet total in program history. White competed in all three pyramid heats as King’s score of 29.75 set a program record. The Tornado set program records with a score of 9.95 in heat 2 and a perfect 10.00 in heat 3. The Tornado also set a season record with a score of 9.80 in heat 1. King set three season highs in the compulsory event, including a program record score of 9.50 in the acro heat. In the acro event, White helped King set a program record of 9.95 in heat 1. White helped King set a tumbling event score of 54.125 as she competed in the trio pass that scored a season-best 8.700.
