Gymnast of the Week awards are given by conference offices. More will be added throughout the week as they become available.

NCAA Rookie of the Week
Noah Newfeld - California
In last Saturday's victory over Air Force, a win in which Cal set its season-high team total of 389.700, Newfeld secured three personal bests - 13.550 on parallel bars, 13.400 on pommel horse and a 13.200 on high bar. His 13.550 mark on p-bars was his highest mark of the season, while his high bar score helped Cal earn a season-best 64.000 in the event.

NCAA Co-Specialists of the Week
Riley Loos - Stanford
Sophomore Riley Loos was named College Gymnastics Association Specialist of the Week this week after posting a 14.250 on still rings to win the event title at Oklahoma on Saturday. Loos, who ranks second nationally on the event with an NQA of 14.250, guided Stanford to a 68.300 on rings this past weekend. The native of El Dorado Hills, Calif., also managed a season-best 14.350 to take second behind OU's Gage Dyer in the floor exercise.

Max Andryushchenko - Ohio State
Andryushchenko finished on the podium on three events during Ohio State’s double-digit victory over No. 8 Iowa, 406.100-395.750, on Saturday. The Mt. Prospect, Ill., native scored a 13.750 on rings to win the event. He followed up that performance with a 13.800 on parallel bars to share second place. Andryushchenko closed the meet on high bar, where he stuck his dismount and had a score of 13.200 to tie for first place.

Cameron Bock - Michigan
  • Earned three event titles in second-ranked Michigan’s Senior Day win over No. 10 Minnesota on Sunday
  • Won the pommel horse (14.200) and parallel bars (14.550) titles
  • Shared top honors on rings (14.300)
  • Earns his seventh career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award and third this season
Freshman of the Week
Kameron Nelson - Ohio State
  • Claimed a second-place finish to help No. 6 Ohio State to a double-digit win over No. 8 Iowa on March 13
  • Scored a career-high 14.250 to place second on floor
  • Helped the Buckeyes to a season-high 70.700 on floor
  • Collects his first Freshman of the Week award

Gymnast of the Week
Spencer Goodell - Oklahoma
Oklahoma junior Spencer Goodell (Tigard, OR) took first-place in the all-around against No. 4 Stanford (Mar. 13) with a score of 82.000. Goodell led the Sooners on rings with a career-high and third-place 13.800, while his big 14.200 on floor exercise and 14.600 on vault also helped him take the all-around crown. Goodell’s vault and floor scores led to team totals of over 70 in those events. He also posted a career-best on parallel bars (13.900). This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Goodell, who first earned the honor after opening week this year (Jan. 19). .
