Gymnast of the Week awards are given by conference offices. More will be added throughout the week as they become available.

Taylor Christopulos - Nebraska

NCAA Specialist of the Week
Blake Wilson - Stanford
Wilson posted a 14.450 on floor to take top honors in a meet against Springfield on Friday before hitting for a career-best 14.600 on Sunday to help defeat California. With two more floor titles this week, Wilson has now collected four in five meets this year. His 14.400 average on floor ranks sixth nationally.

Cameron Bock - Michigan
  • Captured three event titles in No. 2 Michigan’s win over No. 7 Iowa
  • Placed first on pommel horse (14.550), still rings (14.400) and parallel bars (14.400)
  • Set a new career high on pommel horse
  • Earns his sixth career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award and second this season
Shane Wiskus - Minnesota
  • Captured the all-around title (84.050) to help lead Minnesota to its first team victory of the season
  • Earned the third highest all-around score in the nation this season
  • Captured three event titles for the Gophers, including floor (14.800), parallel bars (14.750) and high bar (14.350)
  • Secures his tenth career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week accolade and second this season
Freshman of the Week
Taylor Christopulos - Nebraska
  • Earned his fourth vault title in as many meets, matching his career-high score of 14.95
  • Holds the highest score in the NCAA this season on vault
  • Finished second in the all-around with a 79.20
  • Collects his third career Freshman of the Week award


Eastern College Athletic Conference
Gymnast of the Week
Ian Creelman – William & Mary
Creelman led the Tribe on vault with a 13.70 and horizontal bar with a 13.0. He counted on all four of his events and helped the Tribe to the second highest team score of the season.

Specialist of the Week
Colton O'Brien – Springfield
O'Brien posted a career-high score of 13.400 on the pommel horse en route to a second-place finish on the event against Stanford.

Rookie of the Week
Ahmir Postell – William & Mary
Postell continues to contribute greatly to the rings (12.85), parallel bars (12.15), and horizontal bar (12.35) lineups for the Tribe.

Gymnast of the Week
Brody Malone - Stanford
Stanford junior Brody Malone (Summerville, GA) made his season debut this past week, competing in a total of four events over two team competitions– victories over Springfield and No. 10 California (Mar. 5-7). Malone won all four events he entered, including the pommel horse vs. Springfield with a then-career-best 14.150. He returned to action against Cal, increasing his pommel horse score to 14.500 while also winning the still rings (14.100) and parallel bars titles (14.450). Stanford turned in its best scores of the year during the week, posting a 404.400 on March 5, before managing a 412.500 on March 7. This is the sixth career MPSF weekly award for Malone, who also earned the MPSF Gymnast of the Year honor the last two years.
