Big Ten Conference
Co-Gymnasts of the Week
Cameron Bock - Michigan
  • Earned the all-around title at the Winter Cup Challenge last weekend in Indianapolis, posting a score of 84.150
  • Had a trio of top-five finishes during the individual event portion of the competition
  • Placed first on pommel horse (13.700), as well as second on rings (13.900) and floor (13.950)
  • Earns his fifth career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award and first this season
Shane Wiskus - Minnesota
  • Finished in fourth place in the all-around competition at last weekend’s Winter Cup Challenge in Indianapolis with a score of 83.950
  • Finished in the top three in five of the six events he competed in during Sunday’s event finals portion of the meet
  • Put up the highest scores of the weekend on vault (14.700), floor exercise (14.550) and high bar (14.100)
  • Claims his ninth career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week accolade and first this season
Freshman of the Week
Ethan Dick - Penn State
  • Had three top-three finishes in Penn State’s win over Navy
  • Placed first in his first-ever collegiate high bar routine (13.35)
  • Also finished second on parallel bars (13.700) and third on vault (14.15)
  • Earns his first career Freshman of the Week award


Eastern College Athletic Conference
Gymnast of the Week
Ryan McVay – Navy
Competing in five events, the senior accumulated 66.25 points for the Mids in their season-best scoring performance (398.6) on Saturday versus Penn State in a virtual setting. Highlight events for McVay this weekend, included a second place result on the high bar (13.1), a third on the parallel bars (13.45) and a fourth on the pommel horse (13.2). Additionally, was sixth on the rings (13.05) and ninth on the floor exercise (13.45).

Specialist of the Week
Colton O'Brien – Springfield
For the second-straight week, Colton O'Brien was victorious on the pommel horse as he tied his career high with a 13.250.

Rookie of the Week
Sam Lee – William & Mary
Lee had a great meet and helped lead the Tribe to win over Springfield with career highs on vault with a 14.10 and on the paralell bars with a 13.40.

Gymnast of the Week
Riley Loos - Stanford
Stanford sophomore Riley Loos (El Dorado Hills, CA) finished second in the all-around competition on day one of the 2021 USA Gymnastics Winter Cup to earn an automatic spot on the United States Senior National Team. Loos finished with an overall score and career-high 83.250, as he captured the event title on floor (14.250) and vault (14.750), and finished top-eight on all six events. His other results included fourth-place on still rings (14.000), fifth-place and career-high on parallel bars (13.750), and seventh-place on high bar (13.350) and pommel horse (13.150). This is the third career MPSF weekly award for Loos, all consecutively these past three weeks.
