Gymnast of the Week
Shane Wiskus - Minnesota
  • Earned three event titles to help Minnesota top Illinois 402.800-400.900 last weekend
  • Finished first on floor (14.650), parallel bars (15.100) and in the all-around (84.600), highlighted by a career-high all-around score that currently paces the nation
  • His career-high parallel bar score is currently second best in the nation, tops the Big Ten and is the best result for a Gopher since 2017
  • Added second-place finishes on the still rings (13.950) and the vault (14.250)
Freshman of the Week
Kazuki Hayashi - Ohio State
  • Competed in four events in his performance against Penn State
  • Claimed second on floor with a 13.900 score
  • Finished fourth on high bar (13.350) and fifth on parallel bars (13.650) to round out his top-five finishes

Gymnast of the Week
Mathew Davis – Army
Mathew Davis added another all-around victory, defeating Springfield's Stephen Lewis and Christian Wilkey with a score of 79.550. His floor exercise score of 14.300 was the highest score recorded by any competitor in the meet and led to his highest all-around score of the season thus far. The sophomore posted the highest overall score in all three of Army's apparatus victories (floor, rings and horizontal bar).

Specialist of the Week
Josh Williams – Navy
Williams was at the forefront of the Mids' victory over William & Mary on Saturday as the team surpassed the 400-point mark for the second straight week. The sophomore from Cypress, Texas competed in three events versus the Tribe and placed top-three on each apparatus with his rings' performance leading the way with a first-place 14.0 score, that was 0.25 points ahead of the runner-up. Williams placed second on the floor exercise with a 13.8 before tying for third with a vault of 13.9.

Rookie of the Week
Aidan Cuy – William & Mary
Strong contributor on 4 events for highest team score of the season.

Gymnast of the Week
Brandon Briones - Stanford
Stanford freshman Brandon Briones (Gilbert, AZ) posted the second-highest all-around in the nation this year (84.450) to win the title and guide the Cardinal to a victory over No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 12 California (Jan. 25). Stanford posted the nation's best score of 420.050 to capture the team title and hand the Sooners just their second loss in the last six years. Briones hit a national-best 14.400 on high bar to win the event title, and managed the third-best floor score in the nation this year at 15.000 to take second in the event. He is one of only three gymnasts to reach the 15-point plateau on floor. Briones added a 14.300 on parallel bars, good for second-place, as well as 14.750 on vault. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Briones, each in the last three weeks.
