Gymnast of the Week
Shane Wiskus - Minnesota
Won the parallel bars and high bar titles against Air Force last weekend
His first-place finishes on the parallel bars (14.900) and high bar (14.400) set new career and team season highs
Set a new career high on high bar for the third consecutive week and earned his second high bar title in as many weeks
Collects his fourth career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award and third of the season

Freshman of the Week
Garrett Kasiski - Minnesota
Earned first placed on vault and a podium finish on the still rings against Air Force last weekend
Won his first event title on vault (14.900) in his collegiate debut on that rotation, setting a career-best
Placed third on still rings (13.200) in his second-ever appearance
Earns his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week award



Eastern College Athletic Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Nate Winneg – William & Mary
Winneg put together his highest all-around score of the 2019 season, which is also his career best score. On vault he would score his best individual event score with a 13.2. He followed that up with a high bar score of 12.7 and an 11.6 on pommel horse. His final three event scores to complete the all-around were a 12.4 on floor, a 12.85 on parallel bars and a 12.9 on rings. This added up to a 75.6 to set his new career-best score in the all-around.

Specialist of the Week
David Allen – William & Mary
Allen, a senior from Nashville, Tennessee would impress on Senior Day. His lone event came on the high bar, where he would win the event and set a career high score with a 14.0. This helped the Tribe to set a season high team score in the high and achieve a victory of Army, Springfield and Temple.

Rookie of the Week
Noah Candocia – Springfield
Candocia continued to impress as he finished as runner-up at the William & Mary quad meet on vault. The freshman’s vault would hit for an impressive score of 14.15.



Mountain Pacific Sports Federation

Gymnast of the Week
Gage Dyer - Oklahoma
Oklahoma sophomore Gage Dyer (Yukon, OK) claimed two event titles at No. 10 Navy to help the Sooners to a 416.700-400.600 dual win. Dyer put up a 14.750 on floor to bring home his first title, before registering a career-high 14.700 on high bar to claim his second title. Dyer also notched a third-place 14.600 on vault to assist OU to a 72.700 event score. Dyer has scored 14-plus on vault in every meet he has competed in 2019 and in all but one meet on floor. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Dyer.
