Athlete of the Week
Casi Jackson - Oregon
Jackson, a senior top and tumbler from Orange, Calif., helped Oregon edge Azusa Pacific last week in a matchup of top five teams. Jackson competed in 11 heats and team event for Oregon, leading the Ducks to nine scores of 9.50 or higher. Jackson's performance was headlined by a score of 9.80 in the aerial pass of tumbling. She also led UO to scores of 9.90 in the compulsory toss, 9.85 in the compulsory and six-element pyramids, and a 9.80 in the five-element acro.

Specialist of the Week
Joie Hensley - Baylor
Hensley, a junior top from Castle Pines, Colo., helped lead Baylor to a 9.95 in the open toss, and a 9.75 in the synchronized toss as Baylor topped HPU last week. Hensley has been performing some of the most difficult toss skills this season with a high level of execution.

Freshman of the Week
Hannah Alonzo - Azusa Pacific
Alonzo, a base from San Antonio, Texas, earned freshman of the week honors for the third week in a row, and the fourth time this season. Alonzo competed in 10 heats for APU this week, helping the Cougars record season-high scores in the compulsory acro (9.35) and team event (98.10). She also helped APU to a 9.85 in the inversion pyramid, and a 9.80 in the compulsory toss.
