Player of the Week
Ceara Gray – Baylor
Gray was a force for the Bears in a pair of victories that helped Baylor remain unbeaten on the year. Against Converse, Ceara Gray competed in 9 heats and the team event as the Bears went 8-1-1 in those 10 heats. The Bears scored at least a 9.25 in every event that the junior competed in. Gray then led Bears to a 9-2 mark against Fairmont State, scoring no lower than a 9.60 against the Falcons. Over the course of the week, Gray helped the Bears set or tie their season high in five of the 11 heats she competed in.

Specialist of the Week
Kaylee Adams – Baylor
During a two-win week for the Bears, Adams excelled in four events to help the Bears go a combined 7-1 against Converse and Fairmont State. Against Converse, the junior single-handedly posted a 9.925 in the six-element pass, which was also the highest heat score of the night for the Bears. Over the course of the week, Adams set or tied the season high in five-element acro and inversion pyramid.

Freshman of the Week
Danielle Samuel – Gannon
With a start value of 9.95, Samuel rattled off a perfect routine in the open tumbling heat. Her score of 9.95 won the heat for the Lady Knights over scores of 9.9 from Oregon and 9.325 from Quinnipiac. Samuel also helped the Lady Knights score a 9.8 in the Inversion pyramid and an 8.45 in the Duo Pass Tumbling heat.
