Mountain Pacific Sports Federation

Gymnast of the Week
Yul Moldauer - Oklahoma
Oklahoma junior Yul Moldauer (Arvada, CO) became the first back-to back American Cup winner since former Sooner Jonathan Horton won two-straight in 2006 and 2007. The American Cup was the first of many international events leading up to the World Championships and eventually the 2020 Olympic Games. Moldauer’s 85.964 all-around was more than 2.500 better than the second-place gymnast, and he finished in the top-three on all six events and scored higher than 14 on five of the six. His event victory came on still rings (14.333), while he placed second on pommel horse (14.066), high bar (13.666), floor (14.666), and parallel bars (14.500, tie) and tied for third on vault (14.733). This is Moldauer’s third MPSF weekly award this year and fifth of his career.
