Big Ten Conference

Gymnast of the Week
Alec Yoder - Ohio State
* Took first place and posted the nation’s second-highest score in the all-around competition at Michigan with a score of 83.600
* Also took home the parallel bars title with a score of 14.650 and the high bar title with a 14.100
* Collects his second Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award and the first of the season

Freshman of the Week
Jacob Moore - Michigan
* Marked the nation’s top score in floor exercise this season, earning his first ever event title with a score of 14.950
* Also placed second on pommel horse with a score of 13.850 in his second collegiate meet
* Earns his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week award

Gymnast of the Week
Stephen Lewis – Springfield
Lewis had a sensational meet for Springfield this past weekend as the Pride produced their highest point total of the season, 391.05. Lewis won the all-around competition with a career-best score of 79.1. He achieved the career high by posting career-best marks on the rings (13.5) and the parallel bars (13.45). He also got the top vault score at the meet with a 13.9. To round out his all-around score the Sophomore score 12.8 on the horizontal bar, a 12.3 on the pommel horse and a 13.15 for his floor exercise.

Specialist of the Week
David Watkins – William & Mary
Junior David Watkins performed just one event this past weekend competing against Springfield. The Rings specialist came out and took second place while also hitting a career high mark of 14.0. The mark helped the Tribe to get a season best score of 67.9.

Rookie of the Week
Ryan McVay – Navy
Ryan McVay wins his second consecutive rookie of the week award. He improved his all-around performance from the previous week to a new score of 78.3. McVay highlighted his day by tying for the top score on rings with a score of 13.8 and placing third on the horizontal bar with a 13.5. He also tied for sevent on the floor exercise with a 13.6 and ninth on parallel bars with a 12.4.

Gymnast of the Week
Yul Moldauer - Oklahoma
Oklahoma junior Yul Moldauer (Arvada, CO) turned in one of the top performances by any gymnast across the nation this season, as the Sooners accumulated a 2018 NCAA-high 418.000 in a tri-meet win over No. 2 Nebraska and No. 4 Stanford (Feb. 3). Moldauer, who was performing the all-around for the first time this season, totaled a national-high 87.150. He claimed three-of-six event titles, winning floor (14.400), still rings (14.600), and parallel bars (14.900). He added a pair of second-place outcomes on high bar (14.250) and pommel horse (14.300), as well as a bronze finish on vault (14.700). This is Moldauer’s fourth career MPSF weekly award, including a repeat of the honor from last week.
