Gymnast of the Week
Colin Van Wicklen - Oklahoma
Oklahoma senior Colin Van Wicklen (Magnolia, TX) competed in the all-around for the first time this season in the Sooners’ 425.550 – 394.850 win over Air Force (Feb. 25). He tallied an 84.500 to claim the all-around crown to help push the Sooners to their fifth mark of at least 425 in as many tries. Van Wicklen posted his best marks on high bar (14.750; second-place), turned in a career-high on parallel bars (14.500, second-place) and added another second-place finish on floor (14.250). This is Van Wicklen’s third career MPSF weekly award, previously earning it twice as a freshman in 2014.

Anton Stephenson - Nebraska
* Recorded four top-three finishes in Nebraska’s victory over UIC
* Finished at the top of the podium on pommel horse (13.650), fourth vault (15.100) and on floor (14.050)
* Collects his first Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award

Freshman of the Week
Sam Zakutney - Penn State
* Recorded a trio of top-three finishes in Penn State’s victory over Navy
* Finished first on parallel bars (14.200) and high bar (13.950), 3rd on floor (14.050) and eighth vault (13.650)
* Earns his third Freshman of the Week award

Gymnast of the Week
Jonny Tang – Navy
Tang posted his second-highest all-around score of the season, compiling an 82.3 against No. 6 Penn State last Saturday. The senior placed first on floor exercise (14.2), second on high bar (13.7) and also notched four-place showings in the parallel bars (13.7) and vault (14.05).

Specialist of the Week
Jacopo Gliozzi – William & Mary
Gliozzi scored a career-high 14.4 (adjusted) on pommel horse last weekend to take first place in the event during the Tribe’s meet with Army West Point and Springfield College

Rookie of the Week
Stephen Lewis – Springfield
Lewis was outstanding in a tri-meet with Army and William and Mary this past weekend, as he posted a winning score of 77.850 in the all-around competition. The first-year’s efforts were highlighted by a career-best 13.850 in the floor exercise, where he finished third overall, and a 12.850 on the rings, where he took second in the meet.
