Information for COACHES, ATHLETES, JUDGES and PARENTS

CLOSING PARTY UPDATE: The location for the closing party has changed. It is now at the Marriott Kentucky Ballroom. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Opening Party: COACHES, ATHLETES, PARENTS

This year's opening party will be a group outing to Louisville Slugger Field for the Louisville Bats vs. Scranton/WB RailRiders baseball game. Gates open for the game at 6 p.m. with game getting underway at 7:05 p.m. We are excited to announce that World Acro Champions Michael Rodrigues and Kristin Allen will be throwing out the first pitch and elite athletes will be doing demonstrations on the field during select breaks in the action.

Each athlete, coach and judge will be eligible to receive one (1) complimentary general admission ticket to the game. Clubs may be alloted additional tickets to use for parents based on availability. There will also be a limited number of additional tickets available for other guests on the night of the game based on first come first serve basis. We ask that each club nominate a club representative who will pick up the entire club's tickets on July 26th. We will ask for the club representative's name at registration. The representative will be ale to pick up the club's tickets near the Will Call windows, just inside the Main Street doors by the Pee Wee Reese statue. This will be designated specifically for our group, complete with signage to make it easy to find.

Coaches: Please note that tariff sheets submitted must be as accurate as possible. Only minor changes will be accepted. If you have a question about your tariff sheets, please have them reviewed prior to uploading.

Deadlines:
All Tariff Sheets must be uploaded by Friday, July 12. Each Tariff Sheet not submitted by this date will receive a $50 late fee. New or Revised Tariff sheets not submitted by Friday, July 19th, will receive a loss of difficulty.

Judges will review their findings with coaches on Saturday, July 27 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (location TBD). Revisions if necessary must be submitted, within 1 hour of review. Please bring your own computer and USB drive so that you can make revisions, save on a USB drive for your use in printing. Minor changes can be made using the minor change form per the code of points.

Selection Procedures: COACHES, PARENTS

Selection Procedures must be turned in by July 8. Please mail or fax signed Selection Procedures to Stephanie Marron at 132 E. Washington St., Suite 700, Indianapolis, IN 46204; Fax: 317-237-5069.

Music Policy: COACHES

  1. Music can be checked for length and clarity during the scheduled training times.

  2. Each club is to submit all athlete competition music for the National Championships through the "Online Tariff Sheet Manager." Each routine is to be a separate file in either MP3 or WMA format (10 Mb max). The file name is to be the pair/group's ID number and the first letter of the routine without spaces or other characters (i.e. the music file for the Level 10 WG #165 Balance routine would be "165B.MP3" or "165B.WMA"). These files will be used for all exercises (including training) occurring on the competition floor. Upload the music files in the "Nationals" folder for your club (the same location where tariff sheets are to be filed). Due to the combined size of the files coaches should use the "Upload Tool" option, which will combine the files into a single archive.

  3. All music files must be uploaded by Friday, July 13th. Files uploaded after this deadline will not be available for use during the competition.

  4. All clubs must bring 2 CDs to the event. Each CD should have ALL of their athlete's music that will be competing at the National Championships. In addition to the CD, the coach should label the order of the routines on the CD by each pair/group's ID number and routine (i.e. Level 10 WG #165 Balance). One CD must be turned in at accreditation as a backup to the Online Music submission. This backup CD will only be used in the event of an equipment malfunction. The second disc will be used by the coaches for training in the warm-up area.
