Course Description
Educational Online course

The J501 Course is designed to assist those who are preparing for the 2018-22 Level 10 Judging exam, as well as to provide a review for those judges who already have a Level 10 rating. Originally developed for the 2018 USA Brevet/National Judges course, this course has been updated in November 2018.

Included in this Course are:
  1. Overview of Jr. Olympic Code of Points changes for Level 10
  2. Theoretical Study materials
    1. Start Value Calculation Worksheets
    2. Composition Calculation Quiz
  3. Practice Judging with scripts of deductions
  4. Appendix items (be sure to refer to the Appendix items posted on the website under Rules: JO Optionals for any further updates)
This Online course gives you the opportunity to study at your own pace in any order you wish. It is suggested that you first review the major changes and print out the Appendix items to assist in your studying of the other course components.

USA Gymnastics University
The J501 2018-2022 Level 10 Judges’ Course will provide you with 5 CPE Clinic Hours. Upon completion of the course (there is no score requirement), members can print out a certificate of course completion on their USA Gymnastics “My Profile” page. This certificate can be used in conjunction with your registration confirmation as necessary documentation for proof of CPE Clinic credit.
