2021 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Team Trials

Registration will be conducted using the Meet Reservation system on the USA Gymnastics website.

TRAVEL FORM: Clubs must also complete the Travel Form with their registration.

The World Team Trials competition is open to age eligible pairs and groups wishing to be considered for selection to the 2021 World Age Group and World Championship Teams. Age groups are as follows: 11-17; 12-19; 13-20; Senior (15+).

To help the event run smoothly, volunteers are needed! We ask that each participating club take at least one volunteer shift. Attending club chaperones or parents can fill the volunteer shift position. Volunteer positions needed are door entry for participants and attendees and compliance officers per session. Volunteers will receive complimentary admission to the competition, and we will make all attempts not to schedule work session during your son/daughter’s competition session.

COVID-19 Protocol
All coaches, parents, athletes are asked to carefully review the COVID-19 protocol prior to a decision to attend the event. Registration for and attendance at this event signifies that you agree to follow all COVID-19 protocol.

  • Highlights of COVID-19 Protocol
    • All participants and spectators must wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing throughout the duration of the World Team Trials event.
    • Healthy Roster will be used for daily health monitoring beginning 2 weeks prior to WTT and continuing through and after the event. This is for all participants.
    • Spectators will be limited to up to 2 parents (or legal guardians) per athlete, pending restrictions by the local health authority. If both parents will not attend, the extra ticket is void and may not be used for a sibling, parent, grandparent, teammate, or friend.
    • Temperature checks will be conducted upon entry to the event.
Facial coverings should be fitted or cone-style and consist of multiple layers of fabric. Bandanas, neck gaiters and masks with valves are not permitted.
  • Coaches must wear a facial covering at all times and maintain social distancing when not spotting.
  • During competition and training sessions, athletes must wear facial coverings at all times outside of during the performance of gymnastics. Note: athletes may choose to wear facial coverings during gymnastics activities, including competition.
  • All other participants, judges, staff, volunteers, and spectators are required to wear a facial covering at all times and maintain social distancing protocols.
Please note, that failure to comply with the mandate may result in sanction revocation and/or event disqualification.

If an event Participant or Attendee is suspected of having COVID-19 disease or tests positive for COVID-19, they will be placed into isolation in their hotel room. USAG staff will check on the individual regularly to monitor signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and will escalate medical care as necessary. If the individual is a minor and a parent is with the individual, the parent must isolate with that individual in their hotel room. If the individual is a minor, and a parent or guardian is not at the competition, USAG will ensure care of the individual until a parent/guardian arrives. Those involved will follow all Safe Sport policies regarding one-on-one interactions with minor athletes. If the individual is a minor without a parent, a parent or guardian must fly in within 24-48 hours of being notified and must remain in isolation with the individual. USA Gymnastics will cover the expense of the hotel during the isolation period. By choosing to attend the event, all event Participants and Attendees must accept the risk of isolation.

50% Refunds for registration fees will be provided in the case of injury or severe illness with a doctor’s note. Notification must be provided to at least 1 week prior to the event. Refunds without a doctor’s note are not possible.
