ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 10, 2014 – The University of Oklahoma posted the highest score today in the first of two national qualifying sessions at the NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Championships inside the Crisler Center on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The Sooners earned a team total of 440.000, followed by Stanford University, 433.550, and the University of Illinois, 432.750. All three teams advanced to tomorrow’s national final, which will decide the team and all-around titles.

The second session begins at 7 p.m. ET, featuring Michigan, Ohio State University, Pennsylvania State University, the University of Minnesota, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the University of Nebraska.

2012 Olympic team gold medalist Jordyn Wieber, who is currently working as team manager for the University of California – Los Angeles’ women’s gymnastics team, will be signing autographs from 5:30-7 p.m. ET prior to the men’s team and all-around final tomorrow. To purchase tickets, click here.
