TOKYO, April 5, 2014 – Maggie Nichols of Little Canada, Minn./Twin City Twisters, won the all-around bronze medal today at the 2014 Tokyo (Japan) World Cup. The event is the final leg of the 2013-14 International Gymnastics Federation World Cup all-around series and was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Italy’s Vanessa Ferrari won the gold medal, followed by Spain’s Roxana Popa.

Nichols earned an all-around total of 56.432 with scores of 15.100, vault; 13.066, uneven bars; 13.966, balance beam; and 14.300, floor exercise. Ferrari finished with 56.799, and Popa posted a 56.565.
