INDIANAPOLIS (November 21, 2022) – World individual bronze medalist Yul Moldauer and World Challenge Cup champion Addison Fatta will represent the U.S. on the international stage this week in Switzerland. Moldauer (Wellington, Colo./5280 Gymnastics) will look to defend his 2021 Memorial Arthur Gander men’s title Wednesday in Chiasso before he and Fatta (Wrightsville, Pa./Prestige Gymnastics) team up in Zurich Sunday for the Swiss Cup.

The Memorial Arthur Gander features three qualifying rounds and a winner-take-all final. Gymnasts select which four apparatus they will show. The six highest-scoring gymnasts after the third round at Chiasso’s Palapenz will advance to a final round, and the winner will be determined based on cumulative point totals.

At the Swiss Cup, Moldauer and Fatta will face off against pairs from Austria, France, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey. Each rotation at Zurich’s Hallenstadion will serve as a knockout round with the bottom two teams eliminated after the first rotation and an additional four teams cut after the second rotation. The four pairs left standing will advance to a tournament-style semifinal round where scores reset and teams are seeded and pitted against one another in direct competition. The top seed will take on the fourth seed, and the second and third seeds will face off. Winners will compete head-to-head for the title, while the remaining two duos will battle for third place.
