SAO PAULO, Brazil, May 3, 2015 – Akash Modi of Morganville, N.J./Stanford University, finished fifth in the floor exercise final on the final day of the World Challenge Cup at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In the floor final, Modi posted a 14.750 for fifth. The title went to Chile’s Enrique Sepulveda with 15.625. Diego Hypolito of Brazil (15.550) and Mathias Fahrig of Germany (15.475) placed second and third, respectively.

China finished one-two in the pommel horse final: Xiao Ruoteng was first with 15.075, followed by Zhang Hongtao at 14.900. Germany’s Andreas Toba was third (14.400). Modi landed in eighth place (13.500).

Brazil’s Arthur Zanetti won the men’s still rings title (15.900).
