SOFIA, Bulgaria, April 9, 2022 – Lili Mizuno collected her second top-10 all-around finish in international competition this year, claiming sixth Saturday at the 2022 Sofia World Cup in Bulgaria. She was previously sixth at last month’s Grand Prix Marbella in Spain.

Mizuno also clinched the second reserve spot for Sunday’s ribbon final. On Friday, the 2020 Olympian secured a place in the hoop final and garnered the second reserve position for the ball final.

Mizuno delivered a combined 111.300 across all four apparatus en route to her sixth-place finish. Bulgaria’s Boryana Kaleyn notched the top spot with a 127.300. Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli (124.550) and Bulgaria’s Stiliana Nikolova (123.800) rounded out the all-around podium.

Raffaeli posted the day’s high score on clubs with a 32.150. Mizuno was 13th with a 27.200. Nikolova led the way on ribbon with a 32.100, while Mizuno’s 26.700 placed her 10th, earning her the reserve spot in tomorrow’s final. Individual event titles will be up for grabs at the Arena Armeets Sports Hall, beginning at 5:30 a.m. ET.
