INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 30, 2011 – Tyler Mizoguchi of Houston /University of Illinois, has been added to the U.S. Men’s Team for the 2011 Pan American Games, Oct. 24-29, in Guadalajara, Mexico, pending approval by the U.S. Olympic Committee. He replaces Glen Ishino of Santa Ana, Calif./University of California – Berkley, who withdrew due to a pre-existing hand injury.

In addition to Mizoguchi, the 2011 U.S. Men’s Pan American Team includes: Donothan Bailey of Lake Forest, Calif./University of California – Berkley; Christopher (C.J.) Maestas of Corrales, N.M./University of Illinois; Sho Nakamori of Albany, Calif./Champions Academy; Paul Ruggeri III of Manlius, N.Y./University of Illinois; and Brandon Wynn of Columbus, Ohio/Team Hilton HHonors (Ohio State University).

The Pan American Games represent the largest contingent of Team USA athletes to compete in an international sporting event, with approximately 650 U.S. athletes gearing up for the 2011 Games.
