The Future Stars Program has been the starting point for many future NCAA Champions and World Championship and Olympic Team members. This program is an athlete development and education initiative for male gymnasts aged 10-12. Participants perform selected skills and compulsory routines across six men’s events.
The Future Stars Development Team is named through results from the Level 6 JE Future Stars division at the Eastern & Western National Championships. This competition evaluates athletes in the 10–12-year-old divisions.
Top performers from each age group at the Eastern & Western National Championships are named to the Future Stars Development Team. These nationally recognized athletes, along with additional invitees (based on national participation numbers), are invited to the Future Stars Development Camp. The number of athletes named to the Future Stars Development Team from each National Championship event is below.

The Future Stars Development Camp is the Men’s Program’s premier introductory event for athletes and coaches into the Elite Pathway. The Future Stars Development Team Camp runs alongside the Men’s National Coaches Workshop, supporting athletes on their path to elite development. Historically, many future U.S. National Team members emerge from this exceptional group of young gymnasts.

The Men’s National Coaches Workshop is the premier educational event for the Men’s Program. Open to all coaches in the nation (18+), the workshop features lectures, technical presentations, and hands-on coaches’ sessions with Future Stars participants. Presenters include National Coaches Council members, National Team coaches, sports science experts, U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee staff and special guests.
