INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 16, 2025) – Ryan Maccagnan (Colorado Springs, Colo./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) and Cody Gesuelli (Middletown, N.J./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) claimed gold and silver, respectively, in individual trampoline action Friday at the 2025 T&T Senior Pan American Championships in Santa Tecla, El Salvador.

Maccagnan topped the men’s trampoline podium with a 58.110 Friday night after advancing to the final with a personal best 59.145 in qualifying. Fellow American Gesuelli secured silver, slotting in just behind Maccagnan in the final with a 57.470 for a podium finish. Brazil’s Gabriel Soares Sousa was third with a 56.785.

In women’s trampoline finals, Leah Garafalo (Holmdel, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy) and Kennedi Roberts (North Richland Hills, Texas/Southlake Gymnastics Academy finished just off the podium in fourth with a 51.670, while Roberts placed eighth with a 21.110.

Clare Bretscher (Huntsville, Ala./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) had the fifth-highest score (52.095) in qualifications and Lourens Willekes (Rockford, Mich./Gymnastics Central) the eighth-highest (55.930), but neither advanced due to the two-per-country rule. Also competing in qualifying was Avery Kroeker (Franklin, Tenn./North Valley Gymnastics), who ranked 17th with a 47.850, and Elijah Vogel (Longmont, Colo./Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics), who placed 28th (31.210).

The Pan Am Championships continue Saturday, May 17 with Americans taking on synchronized trampoline qualifying beginning at 6:40 p.m. ET. Fans can follow along through live scoring and stream the competition live on the UPAG PAGU YouTube channel.
