TOGLIATTI, Russia, Sept. 20, 2008 – Kalon Ludvigson of Pocatello, Idaho, earned the silver medal in men’s tumbling at the 2008 World Cup Final in Togliatti, Russia. 2007 world tumbling champion Andrey Krylov of Russia won the gold medal and Poland’s Jozef Wadecki claimed the bronze medal.

Ludvigson posted scores of 37.80 and 35.30 on his passes for a total of 73.10, four tenths of a point behind Krylov’s 73.50. Wadecki scored a 72.80.

The other champions at the World Cup Final were: 2008 Olympic bronze-medalist Dong Dong of China, men’s trampoline; 2007 world silver-medalist Huang Shanshan of China, women’s trampoline; defending world champions Tetsuya Sotomura and Yasuhiro Ueyama of Japan, men’s synchronized trampoline; Ekaterina Mironova and Tatiana Petrenia of Belarus, women’s synchronized trampoline; and 2007 world champion Anna Korobeynikova of Russia, women’s tumbling.
