INDIANAPOLIS, September 1, 2021 – The International Gymnastics Federation’s 2021 Koper (Slovenia) World Challenge Cup kicks off Thursday at the Arena Bonifika. The penultimate event of the 2021 men’s and women’s artistic apparatus championship series will run September 2-5.

Riley Loos of El Dorado Hills, Calif./Stanford University is the sole U.S. athlete competing at the event. The college junior and two-time NCAA men’s team champion will look to gain valuable experience on the international stage ahead of the start of the 2022 collegiate men’s gymnastics season in January.

Individual event qualifications will run Thursday and Friday with the top-eight gymnasts on each apparatus advancing. Event finals will take place Saturday and Sunday. Updates will be posted to the event’s Facebook page.
