INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 20, 2025) – Locations have been determined for the 2026 Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships and Eastern and Western Championships, USA Gymnastics announced Tuesday.
The Development Program National Championships May 6-10 will be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, while the Women’s Eastern and Western Championships will be hosted April 30-May 3 in Savannah, Georgia and Boise, Idaho, respectively. The Men’s Eastern Championships are set for Palm Beach, Florida and the Western Championships for Galveston, Texas, both running from April 24-26.
The 2026 Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships May 6-10 will head to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and be hosted at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.
“Given our region’s rich history within the sport, Oklahoma City prides itself on hosting premier events in partnership with USA Gymnastics,” said Adam Wisniewski, Vice President of Sports Development at Visit Oklahoma City. “We were honored to host Development Program National Championships in 2023 and appreciate being trusted to host it again in 2026. OKC looks forward to welcoming the country to our destination and continuing to elevate gymnastics for the next generation.”
The championships serve as the final competition of the year for the Development Program and will feature women’s Level 10 and men’s Level 8-10 Junior Elite and Level 10 Junior National athletes. All-around, apparatus, club and regional winners will be awarded as the Women’s 2026 Development Program National Team and the Men’s Level 8/9 Junior National Team are determined.

The Women’s Eastern and Western Championships April 30-May 3 will head to Georgia and Idaho in 2026, with the Eastern Championships at the Savannah Convention Center in Savannah, Georgia and the Western Championships at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho.
Each championship is the culmination of the women’s Level 9 season and will see competition across all eight women’s artistic regions. Information about the 2026 Women’s Eastern and Western Championships will be available at a later time.
Eastern Championships — Savannah, Georgia
- Region 5 – Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio
- Region 6 – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont
- Region 7 – Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia
- Region 8 – Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee
Western Championships — Boise, Idaho
- Region 1 – Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah
- Region 2 – Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington
- Region 3 – Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming
- Region 4 – Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin
Florida and Texas will welcome the 2026 Men’s Eastern and Western Championships set for April 24-26. Palm Beach, Florida will play host to the Eastern Championships at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, while the Western Championships will take place at the Galveston Island Convention Center in Galveston, Texas.
The event will feature men’s Level 6 Junior Elite, Level 7 and Level 8-9 Junior National athletes in a competition for all-around, event and regional titles. The 2025-26 Future Stars National Development Team will also be selected.
