On the eve of the 2016 host-city decision, USA Gymnastics received this message from Nastia Liukin, who is in Copenhagen with Chicago 2016 delegation, and we think it’s a good sign.
"Hey everyone. This has been an incredible experience. What an honor to be a part of this effort, and this great team of people in Copenhagen. The feeling over here is electric.
"I feel good about Chicago’s chances. While I was walking outside today, I saw a rainbow and found an American penny on the sidewalk. Then Nadia (Com), Bart (Conner) and I realized that between us, we have 16 Olympic medals. For 2016, we think that is a good sign.
