Boston – The petitions of Shannon Miller, Amanda Stroud and Jeanette Antolin have been approved following this morning’s verification testing at the FleetCenter. The trio is able to compete in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, Aug. 17-20.
“As expected, the athletes proved that their injuries were sufficiently healed and they were deemed safe to compete,” said Bob Colarossi, USA Gymnastics President.
Robin Phelps did not complete the testing and will not compete in Boston. She has been nursing an achilles injury.
