BAKU, Azerbaijan – Rin Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) placed in the top nine in three events, taking fourth on hoop, seventh on ribbon and ninth in the all-around over the weekend at the rhythmic gymnastics Baku World Cup. Alexandra Kautzman (Simi Valley, Calif./California Rhythms) and the Senior National Group also saw action.

After qualifying for the final in eighth, Keys placed fourth on hoop with a 28.900, missing the podium by just .050. Taisiia Onofriichu of Ukraine was first with a 29.250, Vera Tugolukova of Cyprus second (29.200) and neutral athlete Anastasiia Salos third (28.950), ahead of Keys by the slimmest of margins. Keys also placed seventh in the clubs final with a 26.500 and in qualifying was tenth on ball (26.200) and 11th on ribbon (26.550).

Keys placed ninth in the all-around with a score of 107.900 in a competition won by 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Raffaeli Sofia of Italy with a 113.400. Onofriichuk was second (113.250), with 2024 European champion Nikolova Stiliana of Bulgaria third (113.150). Kautzman placed 28th among the 65 competitors with 97.550.

In group qualifying, the U.S. Senior National Group of Goda Balsys (Northbrook, Ill.), Anabella Hantov (Northfield, Ill.), Kristina Lee (Woodridge, Ill.), Anastasia Slipets (Wyckoff, N.J.), Alaini Spata (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) and Natalia Ye-Granda (San Diego, Calif.) was ninth on three balls and two hoops (23.650) as first reserve and was 13th on five ribbons (15.3000).
