TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 14, 2022 – Alexandria Kautzman (Simi Valley, Calif./California Rhythms) will make her 2022 international debut this weekend at the Tashkent World Cup in Uzbekistan. Last year, the 2021 World Championships alternate claimed the top all-around spot at the Marbella Cup and helped the U.S. to a bronze-medal finish in the team competition at the Senior Pan American Championships. This will mark her first FIG World Cup Series appearance.

Kautzman will compete on hoop and ball Friday beginning at 5:30 a.m. ET followed by clubs and ribbon at 5:30 a.m. ET Saturday. Individual apparatus finals will close out competition Sunday with the hoop final slated to kick off at 3 a.m. ET. The top-eight gymnasts on each apparatus will advance to the individual event finals. In all, 20 athletes from 14 countries will be in action this weekend at the Gymnastics Sports Palace.
