PESARO, Italy (June 4,2022) – Alexandria Kautzman (Simi Valley, Calif./California Rhythms) was ninth on ribbon and 11th on ball en route to a 17th-place all-around finish at the ongoing Pesaro World Cup. Erica Foster (Chanhassen, Minn./NorthWest Rhythmic) was 31st, while the U.S. Senior National Group claimed 13th, as the all-around competition concluded Saturday.

Kautzman posted a cumulative 111.300 across all four apparatus, and her 27.950 on ribbon Saturday earned her the first-reserve sport for Sunday’s final. She added a 27.300 on hoop, 28.600 on ball and 27.450 on clubs. Foster notched a two-day all-around total of 95.050 in her first international appearance of 2022. Her best finish came on ball where she landed 23rd with a 26.150.

Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli captured the all-around title with a 126.800. She also led the way on hoop (33.600), ball (31.850) and clubs (32.750) during qualifications. Runner-up Milena Baldassarri (120.950), also of Italy, posted the day’s high score on ribbon with a 29.750.

In the group competition, U.S. team members Maria Bolkhovitinova (Northfield, Ill.), Isabella Ivanova (Kirkland, Wash.), Gergana Petkova (Barrington, Ill.), Katrine Sakhnov (Sammamish, Wash.), Karolina Saverino (Elk Grove Village, Ill.), Hana Starkman (Plantation, Fla.) and Emily Wilson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) were 13th in the all-around with a combined 43.800 behind scores of 24.500 on five hoops and 19.300 on three ribbons and two balls. The group’s top showing came on five hoops, where they finished 11th.

The Italians claimed all-around gold with a 68.350. They paced the field on both apparatus, delivering a 36.200 on five hoops and 32.150 on three ribbons and two balls.
