LJUBLJANA, Slovenia, April 14, 2015 – Nicole Kaloyanov of Woodbridge, Va./Gymnastics World, won five medals, including two golds, at the recent MTM Ljubljana International Tournament in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the junior division, Kaloyanov took gold in the rope and hoop and finished third in the all-around, clubs and ball.

In the all-around, Kaloyanov tallied 58.499 with scores of 14.733, rope; 14.833, hoop; 14.783, ball; and 14.150, clubs. Natalie Bourand of Burr Ridge, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, competed hors concours but posted the fourth best score in the all-around (57.716).

Kaloyanov earned the gold medal in the rope final with a 15.350. Her 15.050 gave her top honors for hoop. In the ball final, her 14.850 mark was good enough to earn the bronze medal. She picked up her third bronze of the competition in clubs with a 14.300.

In the senior ranks, the USA’s Gabrielle Lowenstein of Huntington Beach, Calif./Eurogymnastics, finished eighth in the all-around standings with a 59.083. Lowenstein advanced to three apparatus finals where she finished fourth in hoop, seventh for ball and fifth for ribbon.
