INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 8, 2013 – Kalon Ludvigson of Pocatello, Idaho/Team Revolution, who suffered a neck injury at the conclusion of a training session in Danville, Pa., is showing improvement following surgery two days ago. Ludvigson, who holds eight U.S. tumbling titles and three World Cup gold medals, already has feeling and control returning to his upper body and is expected to move to a rehabilitation facility in the near future.

“Kalon really appreciates the many wishes and messages from fans and fellow national team members,” said Justen Millerbernd, Ludvigson’s coach. “The doctors told me that Kalon’s currently where they thought he might be in a few weeks, which is encouraging.”
