PROVIDENCE, R.I. – April 13, 2014 – Maria Hundley of Seattle Pacific University won three event titles at the 2014 USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championships, held at Brown University’s Pizzitola Sports Center in Providence, R.I.

Hundley won the vault title with a 9.8500. Rachel Zabawa of Lindenwood University and Bethany Larimer of Texas Women’s University tied for second at 9.8125.

The uneven bars had a three-way tie for first at 8.8500: Linnaea Hance of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Brittainy Johnson of TWU and Hundley.

Hundley notched her third gold in the balance beam. Her 9.850 edged past Temple University’s Reagan Oliveri’s 9.800 for first. The University of Bridgeport’s Brianna Comport and Valeri Ingui of Lindenwood tied for third at 9.7750.

In the final event, floor exercise had a four-way tie for first at 9.8750: Bridgeport’s Melissa Doucette and Caitlin Perry, Seattle Pacific’s Kai Tindall and TWU’s Spencer Jones.

The USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships is for Division I, II and III schools with less than seven-and-a-half full scholarships.
