Indianapolis – Houston’s Susan Jackson, 14, a junior national team member, will replace Russian Olympian Elena Produnova in the Reese’s Gymnastics Cup line-up. Produnova was forced to withdraw due to an injury.

Born and raised in Houston, Jackson trains at Brown’s Gymnastics and finished fifth at the 2001 U.S. Gymnastics Championships. She was also a member of the team that won a gold medal at the 2001 Junior Pan American Championships in Curitiba, Brazil.
“It’s unfortunate that Produnova is unable to compete, but Jackson is an excellent addition to the line-up,” said Bob Colarossi, USA Gymnastics President. “This will be a great chance for Houstonians to witness one of the most promising gymnastics stars in Texas.”
