ST. PAUL, Minn., March 19, 2009 – Hamline University will host the 2009 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Championships, March 20-21, at Hutton Arena in St. Paul, Minn. The NCGA Championships, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, is for Division III schools with women’s gymnastics programs.

The schools expected to participate are: Gustavus Adolphus College, Hamline University, Ithaca College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rhode Island College, Springfield College, State University of New York at Brockport, State University of New York at Cortland, University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, University of Wisconsin – Stout, Ursinus College and Winona State University.

The competition opens with the team and all-around finals at 5:30 p.m., followed by individual event finals on March 21 at 2:30 p.m.

All-session ticket packages are $15 per adult and $10 per student, senior citizen (65 and older) and child. Single-session tickets are $10 per adult and $7 per student, senior citizen and child. Admission is free for children age 5 and younger. All tickets will be sold at the door on competition days.

In 2008, UW – La Crosse won the team title and Ursinus College’s Olivia Oller claimed the all-around crown.
