Bill Strauss coached all levels of gymnastics and co-founded an intramural gymnastics program called Parkettes in Allentown, Pa., with his wife Donna during his career.
What started out as a small after-school intramural group turned into a club that developed world-class gymnasts within two decades of the club’s initiation. In his career, Bill helped to coach more than 100 National Team Members, USA Senior and Junior National Champions, World Championships Team Members, Pan American Games Team Members, and Special Olympians.
Along with Donna, Bill was named a coach of the USA World Championship Women’s Team in 1999 and was named USA Gymnastics Coach of the Year in 1998 and 1999.
