

Sereda was a rhythmic gymnastics U.S. National Team member between 2008 and 2015 where she was six-time U.S. junior and senior all-around champion. Sereda competed at the 2013 and 2014 World Championships and claimed a gold medal as part of the 2014 Pan American Championships team in Toronto, where she also was the all-around silver medalist. In her senior career, Sereda won 10 U.S. titles in rhythmic competition at the USA Gymnastics Championships, claiming 14 U.S. medals total over the three-year period. She was twice named the rhythmic Sportsperson of the Year (2012, 2014), was a two-time rhythmic Athlete of the Year (2013-14), and received the rhythmic Star Service Award in 2023. Upon retiring, Sereda held positions in the Rhythmic Program Committee, Athlete Selection Committee, International Elite Committee, Athlete’s Council and the USA Gymnastics Board of Directors as Athlete Director. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston University and a master’s degree in biomedical science from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She resides in New York City, where she currently is pursuing her PhD.
