Hartley Price knew how to win as a head coach at the collegiate level. He coached at the University of Illinois for 18 years, where his teams collected four NCAA Team Championships and posted a .735 win percentage. A decade later, after coming out of retirement, Price added two more NCAA titles and five top-three finishes at the National AAU Championships while leading Florida State University. A chairman of the National Association of College Gymnastics Coaches (NACGC), Price was twice awarded NACGC Special Service Awards as well as the NACGC Honor Coach Award for coaching more than 25 years.
