Dan Millman got his first taste of national victory on the trampoline when he won the USGF Trampoline Championship at the age of 17. Adding floor exercise and vault to his arsenal, the Aikido black belt took gold at the World Trampoline Championship as well as national titles in floor exercise and vault, all during his freshman year at the University of California-Berkeley. The next year, Millman took gold twice at the Maccabiah Games in Israel.
Aside from his athletic success, Millman served as Director of Gymnastics at Stanford University, joined the faculty of Oberlin College, wrote 12 books, and worked as a motivational speaker. He is also a Hall of Fame inductee at Cal-Berkeley.
