Shannon Miller

Shannon Miller is the most decorated gymnast in American history. She has earned 7 Olympic Medals and 9 World Championship medals since her Elite International debut in 1990. During her career, Shannon has won an astounding 58 International and 49 National competition medals; over half have been Gold, culminating with two Gold Medals at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta as a member of the “Magnificent Seven.”

She is a two-time World All-Around Champion. Shannon is a three-time Sullivan Award Nominee and, in 1994, won the Dial Award, America‘s most coveted award for high school seniors. In 1994 Shannon was also named USA Gymnastics Athlete of the Year.

Today Shannon contributes an enormous amount of her time to a variety of charities, including Special Olympics, Children’s Miracle Network, Drug-Free Youth, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Pediatric Aids Foundation.

After retiring from Olympic competition, Shannon received her undergraduate degree in marketing and entrepreneurship and her law degree from Boston College.
